In Steven Aitchitchison's blog, "How to Make the Most of Every Morning," he states three helpful tips to before a morning person. He first states that you should have everything ready the night before. For example, pack all bags and pick out what you are going to wear. Second, you should wake up with energy. Lastly, you should have a reson to wake up and have a purposeful morning. I always have a hard time getting up in the morning when I don't have anything to do in the morning. I always sleep in forever, I have to have something to do in the morning for me to wake up. Also, for school I try to get everything ready the night before. It really helps because I'm not running around trying to find things.

In the article "15 Qualities of Mentally Tough People" the three qualities that I need to improve on are getting enough sleep, not waiting for an apology to forgive and neutralizing toxic people. I never get enough sleep at night because of how busy I always am so I am constaintly tired. If i got more sleep i would always feel refreshed and ready to start a new day. I also need to learn that you do not always need and apology to forgive someone. Sometimes the persons actions to you can prove that they are truley sorry. Lastly, I need to learn how to neutralize toxic people. When it comes to talking to someone I do not get along with, I never can really just talk to them, I always get mad or frustrated.
Mike Illitch was a very successful man. He acomplished so many things and because of that he tought us multiple lessons. In MIke Alboms article "Mike Illitch loved his teams as much as we do" he states that mike "approched each new challenge like a kid spying a baseball field." I think this is a good lesson because you should alway approche something new with excitment and high hopes for success. Also, another lesson Mr. Illitch tought us was that you can do anything if you put your mind to it. Lastly, Mike Illitch tought us to never give up. In the begining pizza wasn't that good of an idea, but now look where it is.
In Jim Rohn's article A Good Life Contains these 6 Essentials, I agree with him that you shouldn't miss anything. Some things in life only come once so why not do everything that you can do. You shouldn't be afraid to step out of your confort zone because who knows you may never have the chance to experiance something again. I also agree that it is important to have good friends in your life. He says " Friendship is probably the greatest support system in the world, so don't deny yourself the time to develop it. Nothing can match it. It's extraordinary in its benefit." I think that that couldn't be anymore true.
I absolutly love Zig Ziglar's video "Attitude Makes All the Difference." In this video he states that when you are about to lose something, the value of it increases greatly. This statement could not be anymore true. People do not realize what they have until it is gone. He also states that you are not going to change anyone else until you change yourself. Everything starts with you. For example, if you have a positive attitude the people around you will also have a positive attitude. Attitude does make a difference.
This week I have to finish filling out some information for NMU, go to the bank, go to work and go to soccer practice and my games. During the month of Febuary I need to sign up for my housing information for college. Currently I am pretty nervous to go to college in the fall because of the distance away from home. But because I am going so far, I will learn how to do things on my own and with out my parents help.
Dale Carnegie was a highly acclaimed American writer, professor and also the founder of courses such as salesmanship, public speaking, self-improvement and interactive skills. http://www.famousauthors.org/dale-carnegie This picture has words from both sides of the heart that relate to my life. Some things that I am trying to get better at is forgiveness and commitment. Because of my past relationship, those two things are very hard for me. As I am growing up, I have realized that it is not worth it to have hate towards anyone or anything. I am trying to leave hate/anger, fear and doubt out of my life.
My main goal in my life is to someday become a nurse anesthetist and have an amazing life afterwords. This goal is very important to me because I love to help people. In my last year of high school I have one goal, and that is to have fun. It is importat that i have fun with everyone because I most likey will not see everyone again.
In Les Browns video "Why People Fail" he states that most people fail in life not because they aim too high and miss, but the aim too low and hit. I believe that it is very important to set high goals for yourself. To me initiative means to be able to do things on your own. Having initiative is important in life because not everything is always going to be handed to you. You need to be capable to make decisions and start things on your own.
Self- Control is also very important because when it comes to emotions, you should be able to control them. Also you should just be able to control yourself all the time. I also believe that confidence is very important. Confidence is key in most situations. You should be able to keep your head up no matter what the situation is. My favorite part of Christmas is being with my family. Even though I have a very small family, it is always great to see everyone. Every year around Christmas time, my mom, dad, sister and I all go out to eat together and go look at he Christmas lights in Rochester. We also sometimes go to Campus Martius in Detroit. This year I am going to Mt. Holly for the first time to learn how to snowboard.
